This was a little project I took on on July 4th, 2005. For years now I'd been seeing this "live camera" picture on my Weatherbug application. Although I am a little bit familiar with the Independence area, I could never recognize the scenery. It was identified as being at the Independence Middle School, so I made a journey to Independence to see if I could find it. I did and I took some pictures. The top one is of the weather sensors mounted on the school's roof and the other an attempt to capture the scene I see on Weatherbug. Inlaid is the actual Weatherbug image.
