Weatherbug station at Independence, Iowa

This was my July 4th (2005) project. For years now I've been seeing this "live camera" picture on my Weatherbug application. Although I am a little bit familiar with the Independence area, I could never recognize the scenery. It is identified as being at the Independence Middle School, so I made a journey to Independence to see if I could find it. I did and I took some pictures. The top one is of the weather sensors mounted on the school's roof and the other an attempt to capture the scene I see on Weatherbug. I inlaid an actual Weatherbug screen in the picture.
